**The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine** (FSTM) contributes multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of **Mathematics**, **Physics**, **Engineering**, **Computer Science**, **Life Sciences** and **Medicine**. **Your Role...**:
Your roles will include:

- Conducting fundamental research and contributing to international publications in the area of large-scale optimisation theory and machine learning
- Developing high-performance models and algorithms
- Experimentally evaluating their performance using our in-house HPC platforms
- Assisting in Bachelor/Master projects and courses

**What we expect from you**:

- Master degree in Computer Science
- Strong mathematical and algorithmic background, especially in Mathematical Programming
- Excellent programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python
- Background in distributed architectures and machine learning
- Good communication skills, commitment, team working, and a critical mind
