Chief Accountant

**_Gcore is looking for a _**_Chief_**_ Accountant who will be part of our internal finance team in Luxembourg_**

**Responsibilities**:

- Have overall responsibility for the general ledger of the Group entities and ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements and applicable accounting standards, across various jurisdictions
- Develop, improve, and implement effective and harmonized finance operations/accounting processes Group-wide
- Review/Preparation of the Financial statements under LuxGAAP
- Review VAT / Tax returns;
- Liaise with third parties such as lawyers, auditors, tax advisors, bankers, and others, as needed for the ongoing activity or new transactions
- Manage and train 5-7 accountants
- Participate in ad-hoc projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or related fields;
- 8+ years of accounting experience in Luxembourg
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg corporate tax and VAT;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Proactive and keen for detail;
- Reliable and entrepreneurial spirit;
- Proven team management skills
- Strong English writing and communication skills (French language will be considered as an asset);
