The subcategory Industrial Services Water and Waste (Environmental services) oversees purchasing in project mode long term contract for Water Cooling Circuits of production tools, Industrial water production, Waste water management, Sludge handling. As well as Real Estate services such as Diagnostic, Demolition, Deconstruction (Dismantling), Depollution of nonoperational real estate assets.

**About the role**
- Lead procurement team and activities for water and waste sub-category specifically putting in place solutions for Environmental services at a global level with the Category Management
- Develop and implement purchasing strategy for the sub-category
- Ensure that all the sites (plants) requirements for the sub-category are covered in due time with the best solution
- Work closely with internal customers, environmental department, head of production departments, COO, in sites across Europe to ensure effective strategic procurement and business continuity Lead a team of Buyer/Buying Support and directly control the results achieved

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead development and implementation of the strategy Environment solutions and assign priorities (master planning) to sourcing projects
- Collect and challenge business needs with internal customers
- Estimate supplier P&L
- Review regularly supplier EHSQ results and certifications
- Responsible for strategic sourcing for Environmental services with focus on TCO optimization.
- Deliver savings and subcategory KPI targets
- Define customer satisfaction KPIs and implement follow up and corrective actions when required
- Define supplier performance improvement actions and be accountable for realizing supplier performance optimization
- Participate in cross-functional teams to identify the best solutions to put in place
- Be accountable for deployment of global / regional contracts/agreements
- Exchange regularly with Environment, CTO, R&D teams to benchmark, innovate and harmonize processes
- Supplier management at European/Global level
- Perform spot buying when required
- Ensure business continuity Participate (or delegate) in transversal working groups focused on back-office process standardization, and establishment of procedures / compliance

**Your profile**

You hold a master’s degree in Environment, Engineering or Scientific education (bac+5).

You have a Successful track record in Procurement with about 5 years of relevant procurement experience and people management experience. You have a successful experience in Environment management and/or research in sludge (by products) management topics and are willing to train to acquire the necessary know how in procurement.

You have a good knowledge of the Environmental Services, Water Cycle Management.

As a genuine buyer, you have problem-solving and analytical skills and a good ease facing numbers.

You have a good technical knowledge of contracts drafting but also in project management and negotiation.

You can discuss on water cycle technical topics as well as implement and manage the change.

You combine a strong personality/leadership and communication skills

You are socially engaged, make easily contact with colleagues in an international context and you can develop a network within the organization.

You can discuss technical topics with users and commercially as well as technically evaluate different suppliers.

You are fluent in English. Any additional European languages will be appreciated especially French, German, and Polish.
