Core Operations Officer
**Who we are looking for**
The Billing Manager will be responsible for managing all client billing related activities. These activities include invoice process oversight, verification of billing templates for new funds / clients, timely issuance of accurate invoices, connection with the CRM/CSM teams and answering client's queries.
The Billing Manager will also have project responsibilities and will report directly to the Head of Billing.
**What you will be responsible for**
As Billing Manager you will
- Manage oversight of invoice production in line with policies
- Verification of new billing templates (New funds/new fee schedule)
- Timely issuance of accurate invoices
- Connexon with the CRM/CSM teams
- Answering client's queries
- Ensuring that all reports are accurate and distributed on time
- Ensuring that all open points are investigated and resolved timeously
- Participation in billing related projects (including the roll out of a new Corporate Billing System)
- Acting as backup during manager/colleagues absence
- Ad-hoc other billing responsibilities
**Education & Preferred Qualifications**
- Degree in Finance / Accounting
- At least 5 years' experience within a Finance/Billing team
- Good people management skills
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and allocate time efficiently between tasks
- Must be proactive in investigating queries
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work without supervision and escalate issues where appropriate
- Demonstrate ability to solve complex problems and be proactive, professional and timeous in responding to client and internal queries
- Be a team player and build an atmosphere of co-operation within the group
