In the scope of its current development, our client, a worldwide securities company, is currently searching to recruit, for its Luxembourg-based wholly owned-subsidiary, the following profile:
**Fund Accountant (M/F)**

**Mission**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Perform day to day NAV calculation as preparation work before daily publication**
- Update the accounting system with NAV calculation dates and update performance fees in the calculation sheets with subscriptions, redemptions and dividend payments in order to calculate performance fee of a concerned fund to be included in the NAV calculation
- Ensure the daily control of funds' Forward Exchange Transactions (FET) which have been realised 2 Business days before their maturity based on a automatically generated report
- Calculate FET realised results before booking it in the accounting system in order to include it in the NAV calculation
- Print Spot FX rates vs. USD and JPY and Forward Exchange rates of open Forward positions after validation by Securities department and distribute a copy to FAFR members
- Calculate the NAV of all types of funds under the structure's administration, ensure the first level control of NAV calculation through balance sheet variations analysis and transmit it to the Senior Fund Accountant/supervisor in order to ensure the 2nd level control

**Record periodical manual bookings and prepare periodical reports for different third parties**
- Book relevant periodical fixed fees which are not automatically booked in the system, perform specific manual bookings, and other particular adjustments according to a defined fund schedule and transmit it to the supervisor in order to ensure the 4-eyes principle check proceeds to booking (automatic) of simulations in the accounting system at the annual closing date of funds in accordance with the internal funds' annual closing procedure and transmit it to the related supervisor in order to ensure the 4-eyes principle check.
- Participate in the calculation of quarterly Total Expense Ratio and Portfolio Turnover for the Management Company, and submit it to the Senior Fund Accountant/ Supervisor
- Prepare periodical reports for third parties upon request and submit them for review to the related supervisor if some manual calculations are involved before sending them to the concerned third parties
- Prepare some specific periodical reports for third parties that require a certain knowledge of manipulations in Excel and submit them for review to the related supervisor
- Assist managers in the annual audit by preparing answers or documents for simple auditors requests and submit them for validation to the related manager
- Ensure the first level review of procedures related to NAV calculation upon request and submit suggestions for optimisation to head of FAFR

**Profile**:
**Profile**
- Degree educated in Accounting or Finance
- 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar Fund Accounting role
- Fluency in English and French
- Proven IT Skills with knowledge of Excel, Olympic, Thomson Reuters, and Bloomberg
- Strong organizational skills
- Pro-active attitude
- Demonstrate motivation, attention to detail
