**Discover the Role**

The Senior Fund Accountant is responsible for the calculation and production of accurate NAVs. Additionally, in this position you will be reviewing payment instructions, regulatory reportings for non-complex funds

**Key Responsibilities**
- Calculation and production of accurate NAVs of the various alternative investment funds especially Private Debt, Credit or Hedge funds
- Processing transactions in the fund accounting system for complex funds: asset deals, security pricing, foreign exchange spot and forward rates calculations as well as calculation of the fees, cash and securities reconciliation
- Maintain the general ledger and various sub-ledgers
- Manage cash and Portfolio Reconciliations
- Complete management Fee & Waterfall calculations
- Ensure timing and quality of client deliverables (SLAs)
- Review Debt/Credit fund clients limited partnership agreements, PPMs, and other materials
- Assist with the implementation of Debt/Credit structures on the loan administration and accounting systems
- Depending on the level of experience, review of basic tasks (payment instructions, regulatory reporting) for non-complex funds
- Understanding and developing the existing relationships with Service Providers such as custodian, brokers, managers and auditors
- Liaising with auditors for year-end review
- Other ad-hoc duties related to domiciliation and corporate secretarial tasks

**Key Requirements**
- 3-4 years’ experience in similar role with Debt/Credit funds
- Strong technical knowledge in accounting, ideally in the Fund industry for Alternative Investments (Private Debt / Loan /Hedge Funds)
- Knowledge of Investran/Sentry desirable
- Accounting experience in private debt and loan funds is considered an advantage
- Understanding of a payment process
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in French or German is an asset)
- MS Excel proficiency
