**Your role**:
- Respnsibilities:_
- Develop lightweight AI/ML models for detecting cyber threats in TSN-based automotive networks
- Explore and implement reinforcement learning algorithms for secure, real-time traffic scheduling and flow reconfiguration
- Conduct testbed-based evaluations using automotive-grade hardware in collaboration with ATEEL
- Contribute to scientific publications, software prototypes, and open dissemination of research outcomes
- Participate in planned secondments at ATEEL’s industrial R&D environment to gain practical insight into compliance testing and certification
**Your profile**:
- Master’s degree (or soon to complete) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, real-time systems, networking protocols, and applied machine learning
- Experience in at least two of the relevant research areas listed above
- Excellent written and spoken English (French and/or German is an asset)
- Motivation for interdisciplinary and applied research
- Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN)
- Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
- Reinforcement Learning and/or Deep Learning
- Real-time embedded systems
- Automotive cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29)
- Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ and Linux-based systems
- Familiarity with OMNeT++, Mininet, or network testbeds (asset)
