Key job responsibilities
- Financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Sort Center operations, delivering actionable insights to leadership
- Partner strategic decision-making through advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Partner with operations leaders to optimize cost structures, improve efficiency, and identify growth opportunities
- Maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for Sort Center operations
- Projects focused on process improvement and cost optimization
About the team
The AMXL EU middle mile Finance team is responsible for the network (transportation and sortation) from a fulfilment centre to the delivery stations of Amazon's heavy and Bulky business; driving financial reporting, planning and cost-out initiatives in six European countries.
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Degree - Solid work experience in finance - Ability to effectively communicate - Intermediate to advanced proficiency in - Microsoft Excel. MS Office
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
Passion for diving into the vast and complex details of productivity and cost measurements - Willingness to support an unpopular opinion if it is in favor of the customer - Manage and prioritize workload and work towards multiple deadlines - Demonstrated business acumen while influencing and managing cross-functional relationships - Action-oriented in solving challenging business and technical issues.
