Functional/technical Consultant

Our office in Luxembourg is looking for a talented Functional/Technical Consultant to join the team and help drive our projects to success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze business needs and propose suitable technical solutions.
- Draft detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Design, enhance, and manage databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL scripts.
- Generate and maintain reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, SSRS, and Tableau.
- Configure and administer project management tools (Project Online, Microsoft PPM, Project Operations, etc.).
- Automate business processes using Power Automate, Nintex, PowerShell scripts, etc.
- Collaborate with development teams for deployments and continuous integration.
- Document solutions and provide training to end users.
- Ensure compliance with data regulations and security standards.
- Stay up to date with technological advancements and best practices.

**Required Skills**:

- Fluency in French and English (must)
- Proficiency in databases, including SQL, modeling, and performance optimization.
- Development experience with SQL, PowerShell, Python, or low-code tools.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, SSRS, and Tableau, as well as ETL processes.
- Experience with project management tools like Project Online and Jira.
- Understanding of APIs and system integrations.
- Ability to thrive in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Nice to have: experience in Microsoft development tools such as Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate), Azure (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, etc.),.NET, VBA

**Desired Profile**:

- Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT functional consulting.
- Self-reliant, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and business stakeholders.
