**Job description**

After completing an initial training period at our European Headquarters in Luxembourg, you will be responsible for injection mold designs in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accountable for leading and executing design and documentation of injection molds, new technologies and new product lines ensuring that each order meets engineering guideline for its successful execution.
- Design new concepts, evaluates and implements existing concepts and best-in-class manufacturing techniques.
- Work closely with different departments to fully understand molded part design requirements and integrate requirements into mold design.
- Understand and leverage automation capabilities to create basis of design features.
- Ensure solutions achieve required product quality levels, reliability, and consistency.
- Create bill of material in our ERP system.
- Prepare and check engineering documentation including order intake, change and improvement of project release.
Provide engineering support to shop floor teams.**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or engineering degree in mechanical/design, or an equivalent education Approximately two years of relevant experience in a similar position, particularly in injection mold design.
- Experience with PET preforms or beverage closure molds is a plus.
- Familiarity with Teamcenter and PMI is advantageous.
- Knowledge of BAAN and GD&T is a plus.
- Fluency in English is essential, as we operate in an international environment. Additional language skills are an asset.
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at a time.
Highly motivated individuals with a passion for design and a customer-focused attitude.**Technical Capabilities**:

- Ability to create engineering designs by creating designs from scratch for different types of molds (including new designs like Mold, Cold half, HR, Product handling).
- Proficiency with production engineering tools, processes and technologies by ensuring complex designs are accurately and consistently generated with no assistance needed.
- Understanding of automation tools relevant to design execution activities by demonstrating an understanding of automation outputs for products, specials and complex designs.
- Understanding of manufacturing, assembly and test processes by leading design review meetings and identifies opportunities for improvement to ensure design execution activities are consistently in line with manufacturing, assembly and tests procedures.
