Nc Programmer

**The Opportunity**

Create programs for CNC machines using CAD/CAM software. Improve and optimize machining processes by reviewing material removal rates for optimum tool life and increased efficiency. Ensures successful completion of CNC programming goals set forth by management.

**Your mission**:

- Create and maintain multi-axis CNC programs to produce parts using Catia V5 / OpenMind HyperMill software.
- Control the CNC program on the machine and adapt the programs if needed.
- Able to improve machining strategy.
- Maintain the master CNC program directory, through proper file management techniques, to ensure the integrity of CNC programs.
- Implement and report cost improvements.
- Ensure compliance with current CNC programming standards and best practices.Assist in the selection of new equipment.

English is a must. Knowledge of French and/or German is an asset.

**Experience**:

- There is no mandatory experience but following points are some assets:

- Experience in Cad/Cam system with 3D models.The knowledge of visual basic for macro.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong math background.
- Analytical ability to solve shop problems.
- Efficient communication with customer and shop floor people.
- Being flexible.
