If you are ambitious, self-motivated, hardworking and a team player and interested in growing your career with an International FMCG business, please read through our job opportunity. - Raise purchase orders (long term) and scheduling agreements (short term) for raw materials/components in the right quantities, with the right supplier, at the right price, based on information coming from SAP (LTP, MRP), promotions, request scheduling or commercial. - Manage the source list to ensure the use of the approved supplier and request inforecord from central purchasing. - Follow up of orders (confirmations, problems with payments, communication with hauliers and suppliers,... ) to ensure stable planning (no changes due to unavailability of raw materials/components) - Evaluation of suppliers (OTIF and Vendor Rating) - Inform central purchasing of any big issues (potential impact on CSL > 0.5%) and big variations of volume (+ or - 20%) and work together to solve any big issues that can’t be handled locally. - Coordinate in case of missing components/raw materials - Search for alternatives in cooperation with R&D formulations/packaging, production, other plants and central purchasing - Approval for derogation/concession from Business Unit Director - Maintain call off parameters in SAP (lotsizes, leadtimes,safetystocks) - Follow up payment issues with Central Park Administration - Follow up and minimise any waiting costs from hauliers - Provide forecasts to suppliers and central purchasing where requested - Optimise material cost through: - Proposals for decomplexity - Buying Long principle - Reviewing MOQ’s and LT’s - Analyse non and slow movers and propose solutions to reduce - Manage return of non conform deliveries with the supplier in cooperation with quality department - Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, looking for the win-win. - Build and maintain effective working relationships with contacts in other departments - Assure continuity of the department (backup other functions, where applicable) career opportunities page which explains the purposes for which we will use your personal information and the ways in which we will handle and retain your information.
