To satisfy local regulatory obligations as well as good governance practices, Payment Outsourcing & Governance established a framework and process to drive global consistency and help steer new eBay initiatives in the areas of Policy Management across all eBay payment entities and functions. **About the Role**: You will play a key role in the Payments organization, working closely with leadership and across all parts of the company, including the legal, risk, compliance, finance, operations, payment services, and customer teams. A critical problem solver, you will further improve the existing policy development and governance processes to drive policy creation and approval. **More specifically, you will**: - Act as the partner concern point of contact for payment policy governance issues and questions. - Implement and lead a defined policy governance process, with a focus on process improvement - Maintain and evolve the GRC Policy Module, working closely with the GRC team. - Work closely with payment stakeholders from across the company, advising them on how to craft and revise their policies. - Prepare, deliver and report on monthly policy review board meetings with VP partners. - Keep a critical eye towards our payment policy framework, ensuring it remains consistent, relevant, and reflect eBay’s strategy. - Drive internal and external awareness and understanding of policies and the rationale behind them. **Key Requirements**: - 8-10+ years of experience in policy and procedure development, risk management, internal audit, internal controls, or risk consulting. - Ability to influence and drive action in a matrix environment with phenomenal communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to articulate clear, compelling insights from complex issues - Demonstrate experience in working with and/or managing partner relationships and with managing cross-functional projects; - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Organized analytical problem solver, with experience managing projects and deliverables. - Passion for problem-solving. Ability to quickly understand the essence of new and existing policy requirements and business challenges. - Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools; knowledge of Salesforce platform based GRC tools and workflows is a plus. - Good documentation skills to detail work processes, procedures and agreements; - A global mind-set and ability to work effectively with people and teams from various cultures and time zones - Experience operating in a fast pace, rapid change environment where matrix reporting and reliance on others is the norm to get things done - Highly motivated, consumer tech savvy, and community focused individual.
