**What you will be doing**
- Work closely with Fraud department to understand new fraud threats and propose/implement controls and mitigation plans
- Ability to identify risks pertaining to campaigns run by the business and provide relevant feedback to the program leads
- Contribute to projects that reduce fraud related losses while maintaining focus on a positive customer experience
- Use a combination of manual and automated tools to proactively analyze complex data
- Work effectively with team members and Fraud department by sharing ideas and knowledge in a constructive and positive manner
- Optimize existing methods, processes and tools used to detect, prevent and recover losses due to fraud
- Conduct analytics to extract insights from big data and communicate with relevant stakeholders for strategic decision making
- Works with Product teams to identify gaps, as well as optimize and innovate existing controls
- Contribute to Satispay’s growth through collaborating, interviewing, on-boarding and/or other recruitment efforts

- At least 3 years of knowledge and experience with regard to the fraud domain (both analytical and case management), preferably in the payment industry
- BSc, MSc or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Criminology, Physics, Econometrics, Economics or comparable
- Strong analytical mindset, ability to use SQL, Excel, Visualization tools to translate data to identify business problems/solutions
- Knowledge of scripting (Python/PySpark/Pandas/R) and ability to create notebooks for efficient querying is also desirable
- Must have strong decision making ability and be self-disciplined
- Resilient and able to work in a fast paced environment managing large volumes of risk
- Trustworthy and highly accountable character
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritize incoming escalations and requests appropriately using clear communications
- Highly proactive individual that can work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to drive projects to conclusion
- Comfortable and fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong commercial attitude/business-driven and interest
- Experience in the fintech industry is a plus
- Currently living in Luxembourg or willing to relocate to Luxembour

The role is based in Luxembourg.
