Emea Private Bank Risk Management

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Risk Governance provides an independent risk oversight of the business activities and ensures that the business is appropriately implementing risk-related regulatory obligations. As Risk Governance Associate, you will report into the Head of the Risk Governance of the EMEA Private Bank and you will be a part of the global Wealth Management.

**Responsibilities**:
As EMEA Private Bank Risk Management - Risk Governance Associate you will:

- Review, edit, and advise business on the different risk issues that impact JP Morgan
- Attention to detail and ability to learn complex processes that affect various functions and business units within Risk Management
- Oversee the compliance with the current and prospective European Risk Management regulations
- Partner with support functions including Operational Risk to review internal and external risks that affect the business
- Work with senior management on firm wide issues and from time to time join working groups.
- Partner with senior risk stakeholders in the region, in the oversight of fiduciary matters
- Undertake credible challenge on business processes and change initiatives

**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or related fields
- At least 5 years’ experience in Financial Services
- A good understanding of Private Banking and European Banking Regulations
- Intellectually curious, willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- IT skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
