Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University;
- Proven work experience connected to import or export compliance within large organizations (+3 years)
- Proven experience with Project Management;
- Proven experience working with large data sets

We are looking for an energetic and talented Senior Trade Compliance Managers (M/F) to support and lead trade compliance matters at Amazon EU, ensuring scaled development and growth of our businesses.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Supporting import/export processes on behalf of Amazon in Europe
- Drive scalable business solutions to ensure compliance with cross border regulations in the region;
- Work across the team members, businesses stakeholders and Corporate Legal to enforce corporate policies;
- Educate internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance on our projects and processes
Key job responsibilities
- Assessing the impact of new import and export regulations and implementing needed changes across Amazon's cross border lanes
- Aligning with Legal on main compliance risks and developing solutions to address those
- Engaging with Regulators on import/export related topics
- Preparing documents for senior leadership review to drive decision process regarding any cross border issues or required investments
A day in the life
Attending several calls with the team and stakeholders on ongoing topics. Reviewing import/export metrics, which may signal specific actions that need to be taken
Organize/support meetings with regulators (monthly or quaterly)
About the team
EU Trade Compliance team is a well functioning group of around 15 team members and is part of a larger Global Trade Services (GTS) team, with over 30 team members in Europe and over 150 globally. GTS is part of International Supply Chain structure at Amazon.

- Prior experience with retail, e-commerce or electronics industry;
- Experience working with IT professionals and process improvement techniques such as Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing;
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
