Cmdb Administrator

Mission- You operate, administrate, and integrate the technologies in the CMDB and web services on CMDB Front-End (FLAM);
- You follow the day-to-day activity of the team and organize its activity (requests, changes and incidents);
- You manage weekly meetings with Service Delivery Managers;
- From a broad selection of monitoring tools, you conceptualize, develop, and implement vendor or custom monitoring solutions to ensure system functions at peak performance;
- You identify, analyse, architect, and test enhancements or bug fixes to the current systems management infrastructure to meet changing requirements and increase productivity;
- You analyse processes to establish technical guidelines and standards for systems monitoring;
- You provide administrative support for configuration and proper operation of monitoring tools used by Operational teams;
- You provide recommendations to other Operational teams;
- You insure availability of monitoring & CMDB solution in 24/7 mode (on-call);
- You insure that requests and incidents are resolved within agreed KPIs;
- You help service owners to translate their business needs into monitoring, CMDB/FLAM solutions;
- You deploy in production & administrate Monitoring, CMDB tools on the existing perimeter;
- If necessary, you assist Service Owners to develop their internal process to ensure detection of errors.
- Competences techniques- You have 6 years’ professional experience as a CMDB Administrator or similar;
- You have experience/knowledge in:

- BMC CMDB;
- BMC ARS Remdy;
- Databases (Oracle, MySQL );
- System: Linux/UNIX;
- Languages: Shell, Python
- Webservices: RESTFul, SOAP;
- Ticketing: SMT HP Service Manager;
- ITIL certified or relevant;
- knowledge of ServiceNow is an asset- Competences generales- You have good supervising, time management and analytical skills;
- You are versatile and adaptable (variety of projects and short deadlines);
- You are autonomous, proactive and energetic;
- You have excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
