A degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or another relevant field
- Ability and strong willingness to use data to answer first time asked questions, and solve large-scale ambiguous problems
- Experience and ability to lead and structure projects, in particular liaising and collaborating with numerous partner teams to influence direction and roadmaps, despite competing priorities
- Significant experience in an analytical fields and financial modelling
- Relevant experience in a finance role including partnering with a variety of stakeholders across the business
- Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, in particular the ability to synthesize clearly complex issues to senior stakeholders and influence decisions
- Relevant experience working with Excel and large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as Python, SQL or Tableau

Key job responsibilities
- Lead finance support for defect initiatives, being the single threaded finance leader on defects.
- Finance business partner to various stakeholders; identify and communicate insights to drive business actions.
- Lead large-scale EU-wide defect projects, providing finance support and thought leadership to maximize end-to-end value for Amazon.
- Build robust and scalable finance processes and tools that influence and support tactical and strategic decision making.
- Partner with teams across the business you support and beyond to source, allocate, and coordinate resources.
- Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems.
- Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects.
- Create, communicate, and manage budget for projects.

- Advanced or master’s degree in finance, economics or mathematics
