**About the team**

Group Audit serves as Deutsche Bank’s independent 'Third line of Defense', proactively assisting the bank’s business and infrastruc-ture areas to identify control weaknesses. Comprising around 700 staff, our global connectivity provides a stimulating environment and the opportunity to collaborate, network and share knowledge with colleagues and specialists around the world.

The function is a professional, business focused, proactive risk-based global audit team that operates with transparency, integrity, and independence, and assists the Bank’s business and infrastructure areas to identify key control weaknesses.

The GA team prides itself in ensuring the highest standard in professional delivery. The function provides a systematic, disciplined approach to examine, evaluate and report objectively on the adequacy of both the design and operating effectiveness of the sys-tems of internal control and the effectiveness of risk management and governance processes.

**Role Description**

**Your key responsibilities**
- You execute the audit plan and present audit results to the Management Board, the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board, manage the relationship with the CSSF and the external auditor, in the role of head of internal audit for the legal entity Deutsche Bank Luxembourg S.A and the DB AG Luxembourg Branch.
- You attend local fora and Committees, such as the Country Operating Council, Regulatory Initiatives, and the Sourcing & Local Outsourcing Committee.
- You act as matrix manager to manage the local audit team, while the Group Audit Country Head Luxembourg is the organisational manager of the local Audit team.
- You coordinate and monitor the local audit resources, who either support audits lead by other Group Audit teams or work on audits led by you.
- You lead, coordinate, and participate in audits. You work efficiently and effectively on multiple audits and must meet key audit project milestones while timely, accurately, and completely, finishing day-to-day audit work based on the principles embedded in the GA methodology and practices; this includes conducting Continuous Monitoring.
- You draft clear and concise audit findings for review by audit management, facilitating finding tracking and validating the closure of findings.
- You present complex and sensitive messages (such as audit findings) comprehensively, professionally, reducing complex topics to simple statements.
- You complete all work assigned on a timely basis, with mínimal manager supervision.
- You have strong soft skills to manage senior relationships.
- You proactively keep abreast of pertinent industry, regulatory and business practices, while maintaining a professional network with colleagues, stakeholders, and relevant support areas.

**Your skills and experiences**
- Internal audit experience, preferably in the financial industry.
- Graduate or equivalent degree expected; advanced degrees and relevant professional certifications (e.g. CIA) preferred but not required.
- Fluent English both verbally and in writing. German and French language skills preferred but not required.
- Good analytical, problem solving, relationship management and presentation skills combined with the ability to work in virtual, global teams in a matrix organisation.
