Postdoctoral Researcher: Artificial Intelligence

The **Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences** (FHSE) brings together expertise from the humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, social and educational sciences. People from across 20 disciplines are working within the Faculty. Along with the **disciplinary** approach a very ambitious interdisciplinary research culture has been developed.

The faculty’s research and teaching focuses on **social, economic, political **and** educational** issues with the common goal of contributing to an inclusive, open and resourceful society. The FHSE offers six Bachelor and twenty Master degrees and a doctoral school providing students with the necessary knowledge and high-qualified skills to succeed in their future career.

**Your Role...**:
Your role in this team will be to work within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA3 project “Artificial Intelligence for and by Teachers” (AI4T). The project is an experimental project that aims to explore and support the use of artificial intelligence in education. AI4T consists of implementing innovative teacher training methods (MOOCs, hackathons, datathons...) specifically designed to meet the challenges of AI in education. The project brings together ministries of education as well as public organizations, research centers, private universities and partners in France, Luxembourg, Italy, Ireland and Slovenia.

The main tasks will be to:

- Participate in AI4T meetings and contribute to the design, execution and reporting of the study
- Contribute the analysis of questionnaire data and the writing of reports
- Organize, conduct, transcribe interviews and analyze the corresponding data
- Review and synthesize the literature
- Write scientific articles, reports and documentation
- Contribute to and support work done in the xCIT team

**What we expect from you**:

- Excellent Master’s degree (or beyond) in Computer Science or Cognitive Science related fields, with a strong technical, programming component.
