**Senior Accountant - M/F/d) **at FWU Life Insurance Lux S.A. - CDI - full-time

**You **
- have a university degree (Bachelor) in Accounting or similar field;
- and at least 5-8 years' relevant experience as an Accountant within the financial industry in Luxembourg (ideally Life Insurance industry);
- or alternatively have done an apprenticeship as Accountant or Tax Accountant;
- have an in-depth knowledge of the Lux GAAP Bookkeeping for banking and/or insurance companies (would be considered an important asset);
- have gained a first experience in using DATEV Bookkeeping system (would be considered as an advantage);
- have gained a first experience in the accounting of Factoring transactions (would be a real asset);
- have experience in the accounting of investments based on transaction journals and NAV's from the Custodian Banks;
- have advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and financial reporting software
- have good knowledge of ERP systems in Finance, having a first practical experience in the implementation of new ERP system would be considered a very important asset
- are willing to learn, and to strive in an international company with multicultural teams and departments;
- are close to fluent in English (mandatory), and have a professional command of German. French would be considered an advantage;
- are highly organised and self-driven, have a hands-on mentality and promote proactive and positive behavior;
- are well-structured and flexible to adapt, solution-oriented, and are highly committed, and entrepreneurial thinking is one of your strengths;
- are a reliable and a caring team-player who shows integrity and empathy, inter
- and intra-departmental;
- work well under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment.

- Bookkeeping of all relevant transactions in compliance with the insurance law in Luxembourg
- Monitoring of the daily cash management
- Participation in the preparation and control procedure of the internal and regulatory reporting
- Assistance in the closing process of the annual accounts
- Dealing with the balance confirmation letters for banks and related parties at ultimo and especially for the year-end closing process
- Co-involvement in all booking items for one of our branches
- Responsibility for publishing the statutory accounts
- Involvement in the groupwide planning and budgeting process
- Involvment in preparation and uploading of financial reinsurance data and corresponding booking entries for the various market
