**Data Protection Officer.
**Mission**
The Consultant will be in charge of the GDPR responsibilities for all the data processing activities related to
personal data. These processing activities can be implemented as a project or as a change.
The DPO participates in some projects, especially for mitigation actions implementation.
Our client has a Group GDPR framework defining the GDPR Processes, GDPR Templates, Guidelines, existing
Data Processing Register, GDPR Roadmap, GDPR trainings.
The Data Protection Register is set-up in the Group Process Management Tool (ARIS).
**Tasks**
- Ensure the mission of the DPO
- Maintain the DPR and all related documentation
- Advise and conduct DPIAs (data protection impact analysis) for processing
- Participate as stakeholder in some projects to provide expertise related to data protection
- Advise and pro-actively provide, regularly, information to the management about the risks for the
company
- Promote and increase awareness of GDPR regulations and potential risks within the company
**Education**
- Hold a Master’s degree in Law, Economics, Finance or IT
- Have a GDPR certification (e.g. GDPR Practitioner or Privacy Manager (CIPM)) which included a final
examination
**Competencies**
- Expert knowledge on data protection, laws, practises and risks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French (C1) and English (B1). The knowledge of
German and/or Luxembourgish is considered an asset
- Knowledge in the energy sector business environment is considered an asset
- Knowledge of the Aris tool is considered an asset
**Soft skills**
- Natural authority and self-confident
- Able to manage a team composed of different profiles and to manage conflict
- Work fully autonomously
**Experience**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a DPO role or similar role is mandatory
