Are you passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment? Join one of our innovative squads at Sopra Steria as a Developer Intern, where you’ll contribute to the development and optimization of cutting-edge services.
Our squads work on a variety of impactful solutions, including:
- Unix and VMware patching automation
- Internal web portals
- API frontends
- CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools
Whether you're already familiar with web technologies and backend systems or simply eager to learn, we welcome your curiosity and drive.
Your Responsibilities:
Software Development
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions following best practices
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in collaboration with your team
- Improve existing services through performance and usability enhancements
- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure robust deployments
Automation & Orchestration
- Use GitLab and scripting tools to automate recurring tasks
- Build workflows to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with architects, network engineers, system administrators, and developers
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews)
- Share knowledge and contribute to the team’s collective expertise
Documentation
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, scripts, and configurations
- Support the creation of technical documentation for long-term maintainability
**Qualifications**:
Technical Skills
- Enthusiastic developer with experience from academic or open-source projects
- Familiarity with NodeJS, CI/CD principles, and web technologies is a plus
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly
- Proactive and eager to learn, with a structured and self-organized approach
- Comfortable seeking information and collaborating across teams
Education
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Fluency in English (written and spoken); other European languages are a plus

Location
The internship will take place in Leudelange (our premises)/ or Cloche d'Or (client's location), at the heart of technological innovation in Luxembourg.
