The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is a Research and Technology Organization (RTO) active in the fields of materials, environment, space and IT. In 2024, LIST and GOODYEAR signed the second phase of their partnership, 2024-2029, building on the outcomes of their previous collaboration and entering new technological areas as well. GOODYEAR-LIST partnership 2.0 embraces Luxembourg's National priorities, such as Sustainability, Digital transformation and Circular economy, through the execution of five Strategic Research Programs: Data Science for Tires, Tire as a Sensor, End-of-Life Tire Valorization, Sustainable Materials for Next Generation of Pneumatic Tires, and Structure-Process-Properties Relationships.

**How will you contribute?**:
Activities
- Conduct extensive background literature analysis, including works in both computer science, psychology and automated control.
- Develop testing approaches and undertake extensive simulator studies.
- Writing of research papers and publication of peer-reviewed journal articles.
- Write a PhD thesis in the field of computer science and human-factors related topics
- Take part in PhD and research training.
- Participation to outreach activities of LIST.

**Education**
- A Masters degree or Engineer diploma in computer science, automated control or engineering science, cognitive science, or data science.

**Experience and skills**
- Demonstrated knowledge of vehicle automation primarily from a human-factors perspective.
- Good background in at least one of the following: computer science, psychology or cognitive science.
- Relevant programming experience, in particular with data analysis and statistical software.

**Language skills**
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and good level written and spoken. Knowledge of French is an asset but not mandatory.
