Join Deloitte Luxembourg's Audit and Assurance Monitoring and Remediation team to perform ongoing monitoring and periodic testing of our System of Quality Management (SQM) in accordance with International Standard on Quality Management 1 (ISQM 1) and QC 1000. You will evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of quality responses, support root cause analysis (RCA) and remediation, and coordinate GITC testing of quality-enabling tools used within the Audit and Assurance practice.

Your contribution to our success
- Execute the annual monitoring plan using a risk-based approach to determine the nature, timing, and extent of testing across SQM components
- Test design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of quality responses (controls).
- Prepare clear, evidence-based workpapers including testing procedures, items tested, results, exceptions, and conclusions.
- Perform/support RCA, and track remediation to verified closure (including effectiveness re-testing).
- Prepare deliverables for the Global network.
- Stay current with internal policy updates and external expectations; translate into operational testing procedures and templates.
Your skills
- Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics (or related). Professional credential (CIA/ACCA/CPA, etc.) is a plus.
- Experienced Junior/Senior: ~1.5–4+ years in audit/assurance, internal quality/inspection, or demonstrable control testing/monitoring experience.
- Strong knowledge of or familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and ISQM 1.
- Practical exposure to GITC/ITGC concepts (access, change, operations), IT-dependent manual controls, and IPE /completeness & accuracy is highly valued.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; French an advantage.
