Role/ Department:
Northern Trust Banking & Markets encompasses global banking, treasury management, lending and benefit payments, alongside the global trading desks for all equities bonds and FX trading, securities lending and financing and repo trading. The Client Services Specialist will act as a senior relationship manager for Northern Trust Banking & Markets, responsible for onboarding strategic clients, driving revenue growth through proactive selling and cross-selling, and ensuring exceptional client experience. This role combines deep banking expertise with strong commercial acumen to manage complex relationships and deliver on strategic objectives.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Luxembourg Banking SME with extensive knowledge of the Banking industry and product.
- Lead the onboarding process for high-value clients, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to compliance standards.
- Manage complex banking client relationships and identifies opportunities to enhance the relationship through additional NT services
- Develop and execute tailored marketing and sales strategies for client segments to drive cross-sell initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional Northern Trust services and solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic clients, building trust and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor financial and operational performance for the region, providing insights and recommendations to leadership
- Responsible for oversight of key initiatives, monitoring of financial & operational performance and working with leadership to identify and implement the strategic roadmap.
- Partners with internal teams to ensure business alignment with risk, compliance, and strategic objectives
- Responsible for obtaining, analyzing and summarizing market intelligence for the region
- Develops new relationships. Identifies prospects and develops the marketing strategy for specific clients or client segments
- Own and deliver strategic projects that enhance client experience and business performance.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment with risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Understands the impact of new regulations on the business and respond to requests from Regulators as required
- Collaborate across lines of business and corporate functions to implement the strategic roadmap.
Skills/Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial services and banking, with proven success in client relationship management and revenue generation.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly adaptable, collaborative, and able to navigate complex organizational structures.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
