About the team and the role:Join eBay's AML Compliance team and be part of a group committed to flawless compliance and high-quality outcomes. This role is an outstanding chance to create a significant impact by identifying and reporting potentially suspicious activities. As a Junior AML Analyst, you will work closely with the EU Chief Compliance Officer, the Senior AML Investigations Manager, and various internal partners. You will help ensure world-class regulatory compliance. Your expertise will support us in competing in the ever-evolving fintech landscape by implementing strong compliance measures.
What you will accomplish:
Review potentially suspicious seller activity and evaluate it according to AML requirements
Prepare and draft SARs/STRs for submission to the Financial Intelligence Unit
Assume responsibility for assigned investigations to ensure timely completion according to established SLAs
Maintain clear documentation and high-quality standards throughout the review process
Work collaboratively with collaborators across teams to gather information and share updates
Contribute to team projects and additional tasks that support the broader Compliance function
2+ years of experience in AML Compliance in Luxembourg, ideally within payments or fintech
A bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus
The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with senior leaders and colleagues
Comfort managing multiple priorities and working independently with mentorship from the team
Experience working with a range of collaborators in a timely and collaborative manner
