Scientific Computing Specialist

Are you a passionate and high-performance computing specialist looking to make an impact?

We're looking for a talented individual to join our growing team and share the future using a combination of science and engineering. In this role, you'll play a key role in developing mathematical models for science and engineering challenges and enabling them to have exa-scale capabilities.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop mathematical models for science and engineering applications using partial differential equations with numerical methods
• Implement code for science and engineering problems aiming at exascale computing using GPU, CPU, and heterogeneous programming
• Participate in the national and European efforts in matters of research and development

What we're looking for:

• MSc degree or higher in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in high-performance computing (HPC).
• Advanced know-how in the fields of HPC, HPDA, and AI, specifically parallel programming (Julia, CUDA, OpenACC, OpenMP Offloading) and CPU (shared and distributed memory programming).
• Experience in a research/startup environment
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Advanced project management skills, especially the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines and the ability to perform in a dynamic environment commitment, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
