Manager Legal – Alternative Funds, Growing PFS

We are pleased to present this role of Manager Legal / Legal Counsel with one of our long-term partners – a growing PFS with more than 50 employees that continues to expand in Luxembourg.

In this role, you will have the chance to utilize your legal expertise and therefore take on similar work as in a law firm, but in an environment that is much more attentive to offering work/life balance and a healthy work environment. Indeed, the PFS has quite strong human values which has allowed to to limit the staff turn-over, and it offers flexibility and overtime is also quite rare.

In addition, the PFS makes sure to invest continually in its company culture by organizing team buildings, regular trainings amongst the teams or even other initiatives to make sure that no one feels left out or frustrated.

This role is ideal for someone who wishes to join a small department of less than 10 people, and to become the right-hand man or woman of the Head Of, in managing the legal team.

Your Responsibilities | Manager Legal – AIF – Funds – Legal – Lawyer – Avocat

• You oversee the set-up and structuring of alternative investment funds (including RAIF, SICAR, SIF…) and manage the ongoing legal lifecycle.
• You draft legal documents for board and shareholder meetings, and review or negotiate agreements such as LPA and service agreement.
• You support the Head of Legal in supervising the team, ensuring high-quality work standards as well as that deadlines are met.
  You work closely with the Corporate governance team, as well as the compliance team to ensure all formalities are respected.

Profile and Career Path | Manager Legal – AIF – Funds – Legal – Lawyer – Avocat

• Experience : You have at least 3 years of experience as an Investment fund Lawyer in Luxembourg, acquired in a law firm. However we can also take into consideration experience as Legal Counsel with strong knowledge of AIF.
• Language skills : Fluency in French and English is asked, both verbally and in writing. Any other language, especially Italian, is an asset.
• Managerial skills : You have ideally already had the chance to manage and/or supervise a team. If your experience in this field is limited, it is not necessarily an issue if you share the same values and managerial approach as the PFS.
• Technical skills : You have great knowledge of alternative investment funds and the investment fund industry in Luxembourg.
