About Our Client
Our client is a Luxembourg-based European banking institution operating as part of a large international banking group. The bank is active in capital markets and transactional banking, serving corporate and institutional clients with a strong focus on compliance, risk control, and cross-border operations.

Job Description

  • Conduct all financial markets activities in line with European laws and regulations
  • Analyse market conditions and identify transactional and trading opportunities
  • Support the development of customer transaction business in cooperation with relationship managers
  • Execute trades across various financial instruments (bonds, certificates of deposit, MTNs, derivatives)
  • Liaise with risk, compliance, and audit functions to ensure robust control frameworks
  • Prepare and validate regulatory reporting related to financial markets activities (e.g. MiFID II, EMIR)
  • Contribute to internal projects and ad-hoc assignments led by senior management

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within financial markets or front-office banking activities
  • Solid understanding of key financial products and market mechanisms
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Client-oriented mindset with a focus on results and execution
  • Comfortable working across functions (legal, tax, operations, risk, management)
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
  • Curious, adaptable, and quick to learn in a regulated environment
