Radar System Engineer

Your Responsibilities Would Include
- Being the engineering lead in product function development programs
- Participating in assessing development ideas and generating the necessary engineering recommendations to pursue or not pursue product ideas
- Transferring of generic customer and stakeholder specifications into IEE system requirements
- Ensuring that our generic product is developed to customer needs
- Defining and supporting system test concepts
- Performing engineering releases of system concepts
- Leading design FMEAs
- Presenting technical topics internally to customers and suppliers
- Setting up and maintaining Engineering Configuration Management in close collaboration with the Program and Department Manager
You Would Need To Meet The Following Requirements
- Academic degree in electrical engineering
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art radar technology
A high level of knowledge and considerable experience in:
Physics and signal processing related to automotive radar systems
- General automotive electronics development (hardware and software)
- Automotive system requirement analysis and development
- Automotive development processes
- Methods to identify and manage technical risks
Understanding of vehicle packaging and component integration
Experience in:
MATLAB, DOORS, IQFMEA
- MS Office
Version control software SVN
Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving and team working skills
- Good organizational skills
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); German or French is considered an asset
