Description
As part of Aperam Treasury and Corporate Finance team, the role of the Corporate Finance Analyst is to participate to the definition and the implementation of the financing strategy of the company. 

Focusing on financial debts, you understand financial markets, analyze bank's proposals and identify opportunities of financing that minimize the costs and optimize the debt maturity profile of the Group. Through diversified financing tools that you manage, the debt structure of the group is organized to secure the financing of long term assets but also the working capital through short term credit lines, off balance sheet financing structures focusing on securitization of receivables and supply chain financing. External debt is managed at corporate level.

As Corporate Finance Analyst, you also focus on the balance sheet structures of subsidiaries and allocate intercompany financing facilities through Aperam In-House bank taking into consideration mid to long term needs of each company, tax matters in their country of incorporation and transfer pricing rules applicable. 

In addition, as Corporate Finance analyst, your are also involved in all matters in the field of Trade Finance for Aperam. 

You report to the Head of Corporate Finance.

Responsibilities
Participate to set up the global strategy and policy for the Group's capital structure including debt issuance and working capital financing

Managing group's internal and external financing processes and the management of credit facilities

Preparing debt reporting and compliance

Tracking global trade finance (guarantees) limits & exposures in close collaboration with units

Assessing and manage working capital solutions (including true sales of receivables and supply chain finance)

Proactively manages and prioritizes inquiries from all counterparties with quality and agility to minimize disruption and strengthen professional networks

Participate broadly to all corporate finance activities of the Group

Follow closely financial markets to identify opportunities and risks

Work closely with the in-house bank cash management team and dealing room

Implement and manage financing solutions in Aperam in-house bank core treasury management system

Coordinate with tax department for tax framework and for transfer pricing rules applicable to internal funding allocations

Work closely with the legal team for the review and negotiation of legal documentation in relation to financing 

Monitor and assess ESG related financing solutions and ESG embedded KPI's in coordination with Aperam sustainability team

Qualifications

Strong technical understanding of treasury organisation, banking systems and financing structures 

Good knowledge of economics and financial markets 

Ability to comprehend and anticipate business issues and develop efficient & comprehensive business solutions 

Analytical mindset with ability to take decisions in a quick and efficient manner, leveraging prioritisation skills and efficient thinking both strategically and operationally

Ability to adapts quickly to changing requirements and urgent requests without sacrificing quality

Comfort and proven success working with senior management and presenting to groups 

Ability to work in international and multi-cultural environment 

Master in economics with a first experience as treasurer gained in a multi-national corporation or as corporate banker in an international bank or as auditor in bank or industry department

Language: English, French 

Travel: up to 10% time
