Compliance Expert (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Expert to join our team in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Chief Compliance Officer in ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role requires a deep understanding of Luxembourg compliance requirements, banking operations and the ability to implement effective compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance
Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures.Implement and ensure adherence to regulations (e.g. Circular CSSF 12/552, Circular CSSF 22/806; Directive (EU) 2018/843).Monitor and assess the effectiveness of controls.Conduct second line of defense controls in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring Plan and support compliance risk assessments.Ensure product compliance and ensure products meet regulatory standards.Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure the company's compliance with new regulations.Liaise with regulatory authorities and manage compliance reporting.Take over business ownership for compliance-related service providers.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry, preferably in banks or PIs / EMIs. Candidates with a strong compliance background acquired in an audit firm may also be considered.Strong knowledge of Luxembourg's regulatory environment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Fluency in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.Our plus points:
