Experienced Accountant

About the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager Investment Funds, you will play a key role in the fund accounting activities of Luxembourg-based investment vehicles (RAIFs, SIFs, SICARs, etc.).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the accounts and investor reporting for investment funds
• Reviewing deliverables prepared by the external fund administrator
• Managing the quarterly and year-end reporting processes
• Preparing the statutory financial statements of the Luxembourg entities, along with other ad hoc financial reporting
• Preparing the financial sections for board meetings of the SOPARFIs
• Overseeing day-to-day financial operations and administration of the entities, including payment execution
• Ensuring timely and accurate management and financial reporting in line with group requirements
• Ensuring accurate and timely submission of tax returns, tax declarations and other regulatory filings
• Supporting management on finance-related special projects
• Collaborating with colleagues both in Luxembourg and internationally
• Assisting the team during busy periods or in the event of absence (sickness/holidays)

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance (minimum)
• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, ideally within an international environment
• Solid understanding of complex legal and accounting structures, preferably within private equity
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP; IFRS exposure is an asset
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Ideally, experience coordinating IT-related projects
• Excellent analytical, numerical and organisational skills
