We are searching for our client, a global IT company, Data Engineer to join their business in Luxembourg City.

Data Engineer - IBM DataStage / Microsoft Fabric

Responsibilities
Administer and maintain SQL Server production databases (performance, security, backups, high availability).
· Develop and maintain reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
· Design and automate dataflows with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
· Manage master data repositories through Master Data Services (MDS).
· Participate in data modeling and SQL query optimization.
· Collaborate with development teams and business lines to meet data needs.
· Ensure data quality, consistency, and security in production environments.
· Implement database monitoring and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements
Ms or Bs in computer science or have gained equivalent experience during your career and possess the following skills:

Good Knowledge of IBM DataStage
-
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Fabric platform
-
Experience in Shell Scripting, Perl, Curl, and Python
-
Good knowledge of ETL/ELT development
-
Good knowledge of data integration
-
Good knowledge of Power BI reporting
-
Ability to work independently to fully meet business requests, from requirements gathering to technical implementation

Strong interpersonal skills and listening ability to develop required solutions according to expressed needs
-
Proactiveness in proposing new solutions for greater business and IT efficiency
-
Attention to detail to ensure the sustainability of systems
-
English and French B2-C1
