Do you want to join our rockstar team of innovators and make a REAL impact in the sustainability space?
Circu Li-ion is driving the green revolution by reusing batteries through our cutting-edge automated battery disassembly lines. We offer this technology as a service model to recyclers, micromobility & automotive OEMs. Our vision is to deploy the battery disassembly lines in a hub and spoke model around the globe to disassemble Li-ion battery packs into reusable Li-ion cells or modules, minimizing waste and maximizing sustainability. By upcycling these cells and modules into second-life CO2-neutral battery packs, we are revolutionizing the way batteries are reused.
YOUR ROLE
As an Engineering Technician at Circu Li-ion, you'll be a hands-on expert that transforms complex physical products (like batteries and e-drives) into digital assets. This involves getting deep into the product: disassembling and reversing existing products to identify their complexities, meticulously collecting data and recording key insights. This is a practical, hands-on role that requires hard work in a lab environment.
You will utilize your expertise to assemble, test, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems for our cutting-edge battery disassembly technology.
Working closely with engineers, you'll also conduct engineering assessments to identify opportunities for automation and potential designs for our automated disassemble process
This role is perfect for a skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in turning innovative ideas and physical product insights into tangible, world-changing digital solutions.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the hands-on disassembly, reverse engineering, and meticulous data collection of complex products (batteries, e-drives) to facilitate digital transformation.
- Conduct engineering assessments of the reverse engineering process to identify opportunities for automation and improved efficiency in data capture.
- Support hands-on prototype builds, mechanical assemblies, and system integrations for custom disassembly machinery and tools.
- Translate complex mechanical designs and drawings into working assemblies with high precision and craftsmanship.
