In this
Data Operations Specialist
role you'll join our Data and AI team. This role is primarily operational and business-oriented, focusing on the management, quality, and usability of data received from clients and third-party providers. You will play a key role in ensuring that data supporting our services to investment funds is accurate, complete, timely, and fit for regulatory and operational reporting.

This position sits at the intersection of data operations and regulation. Rather than developing complex systems, you will oversee data flows, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement of data processes that support our asset-management clients.

What You'll Bring

• Experience working in a financial services / reporting / operational environment, with exposure to recurring production cycles and strict deadlines
• Comfort working with client-delivered files and reporting inputs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely upload into the relevant systems
• Ability to collaborate across teams and support continuous improvement in reporting operations
• Solid technical literacy: ability to understand how data moves between systems, common file formats (CSV/Excel/XML), and basic automation concepts
• Excellent command of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and strong MS Office skills
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to investigate discrepancies in production data
• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with internal stakeholders and clients when resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Data Intake & Coordination: Collect and manage data from clients and third-party providers; act as the main contact for data-related queries and follow-ups
• Data Quality & Validation: Perform data checks, reconciliations, and issue resolution to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Data Preparation & Reporting: Prepare and validate datasets for internal use, client deliverables, and regulatory reporting using Excel, SQL, or basic Python where required
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and contribute to process standardisation and automation initiatives
• Client & Stakeholder Support: Support clients and internal teams by explaining data outputs and resolving operational data issues

Must Have

• Bachelor Degree or Higher in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline
• Perfect fluency in English, good command of French or German as a strong advantage
• 0 to 2 years of experience in similar role or a related field of study
• Proficiency in Python
• Highly creative and autonomous, appetite to learn, great team player
• Valid work permit for Luxembourg

• Understanding of the Investment Fund or Private Banking sectors dynamics and products
