The evolving regulatory framework and the harmonisation of financial markets in Europe and around the world significantly influence the business strategies and operating models of financial organisations.
Our Regulatory Watch team assists these organisations in navigating this continuously evolving regulatory environment. We identify the regulatory updates that are relevant for our different types of clients, highlight the changes and anticipated impacts on their activities. Our work requires a strong interest in the regulatory ecosystem that shapes the financial services industry and a practical understanding of our clients' day-to-day business.

Your next challenge 


•    Coordinate the work of junior colleagues to help them grow and build an expertise around the key regulations impacting the market.

•    Develop high-performing teams through knowledge sharing, coaching and challenging learning opportunities.

•    Manage the service, teams and client relationships with the same concern for quality, performance and engagement.

•    Support clients with regulatory scanning, identify new challenges, and assess their impact on their business.

•    Analyse the impacts of regulations on banks', management companies', and insurers' processes and organization.

•    Provide insights on the key regulations impacting the market and become the trusted regulatory advisor of our clients on your area of expertise.

•    Manage internal projects to enhance the team's processes and tools, maintain the firm's regulatory literacy, and build communication materials.

•    Contribute to commercial development of the service, participating to go-to-market and commercial presentations.

Your skills 


•    Hold a Master's degree in Economics, Business Law and/or Management (with a focus on Banking, Finance, Compliance or Risk Management).

•    Have 5 -7 years of experience within the financial industry (banks, investment management, insurance), with practical experience related to regulatory topics such as MiFID, PRIIPs, CRD, DORA, MAD, AIFMD, UCITS, or EMIR. A previous experience in compliance risk management, financial risk management, prudential mechanisms, or regulatory compliance is valued.

•    Demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities and a pragmatic mindset.

•    Possess excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.

•    Track record of managing projects and/or teams is considered an additional asset.

•    Business fluency in English; French or German fluency is strong asset.
