We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented data retention senior officer to manage and maintain our digital data retention strategy and framework. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure we have a robust Enterprise Digital Data Management Lifecycle that complies with Legal and Regulatory obligations.

Your contribution to our success

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine the Firm's digital data retention strategy in compliance with industry standards, contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.Collect, assess and classify various data types, coordinate with the Legal Department to determine appropriate retention periods based on legal obligations and business needs.Develop and maintain the official repository for all Retention Schedules and any supporting documentation.Coordinate with the business and IT to manage the destruction of data. Provide consultation and education to Business teams and application owners in the development of their procedures required to meet the provisions of their Retention Schedules.

Your skills

Experience & Education: 3-5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Information Management or related field.Data Management Expertise: Practical knowledge in data retention management, best practices, and technologies.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with data-related regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, and awareness of emerging trends and issues.Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, accompanied by strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Organizational & Communication Skills: Excellent organizational, multitasking, communication skills, and a proactive mindset.
