Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Technician

For our department Training within LuxairAirlines, we are looking for a (an):

Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Technician (m/f/x)

Main duties:

  • Perform under supervision maintenance on Aircraft and Aircraft parts
  • Keep the "on-the-job-training" logbook for the Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License updated
  • Prepare and realize successfully the 1st Type rating on one of Luxairs fleet aircraft according to internal and legal regulations in force
  • Provide regular feedback on job progress, discovered defects and encountered problems to the directly concerned persons
  • Ensure that working documents are completed with necessary information's according to internal procedures in force
  • Raise deficiency reports
  • Occasionally assure on demand a support to the concerned department if proper instructions or training were received



Required profile:

Minimum required criteria:

  • Be holder of a "Diplôme Technicien" given by the Lycée Technique Privé Emile Metz and the Ministry of Education of Luxembourg or equivalent as per article L.222-4 of the "Code du Travail"
  • Be prepared to work in a team and irregular shifts
  • Accept Duty Travel
  • Be familiar with standard office applications
  • Show good communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)

  • Be rigorous and self-motivated
  • Show good organizational skills
  • Show a good sense of priorities
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
  • Show the ability for clear expression in writing
  • Attend and pass successfully all mandatory trainings according to the area of activity
  • Show user skills in the tools used in LG Technics
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data

The ideal candidate:

  •  Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset
