Full Stack developer

Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.

Role Overview

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Full Stack developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 8 years of experience with Java 8–21;
• Minimum 6 years of experience with Oracle RDBMS;
• Minimum 6 years of experience with PostgreSQL RDBMS;
• Minimum 6 years of experience using XML and HTML data formats;
• Minimum 6 years of experience with JSON;
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Spring Boot for backend development;
• Minimum 5 years of experience building RESTful APIs;
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Angular and HTML/CSS3 for web development;
• Minimum 5 years of experience with responsive and accessible UI design;
• Minimum 5 years of experience using frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.);
• Minimum 5 years of experience with backend testing tools (JUnit, Mockito, Postman, Testcontainers) and frontend testing tools (Mocha, Jest, JMeter, Cypress);
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing on AWS, Azure, or GCP;
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SaaS and CaaS hosting;
• Minimum 5 years of experience using monitoring and logging tools such as ELK;
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments;
• Minimum 5 years of experience using the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence);
• Minimum 5 years of experience documenting code and configurations;
• Minimum 4 years of experience applying security standards (SSDF, NIST 800-53, etc.);
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing vendor-neutral, cloud-portable applications;
• Minimum 3 years of experience integrating/configuring databases with Liquibase or similar;
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL;
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven processing;
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing Kafka schema registries;
• Minimum 3 years of experience with CI/CD automation;
• Minimum 3 years of experience using Git for version control and delivery;
• Minimum 3 years of experience writing analysis and technical guides;
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker based containerized applications;
• Minimum 2 years of experience using secrets management tools (HashiCorp Vault);
• Minimum 2 years of experience with RDF, knowledge graphs, and triple stores;
• Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting Kafka data flows and consumer performance;
• Minimum 1 year of experience upgrading Java 8 applications to newer versions (17+);
• Minimum 1 year of experience with GraphQL;
• Minimum 1 year of experience with WSO2 API Gateway or similar;
• Minimum 1 year of experience migrating Oracle databases to PostgreSQL;
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in cloud-agnostic environments;
• Minimum 1 year of experience migrating applications from WebLogic to Tomcat or equivalent;
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing component licensing and compliance;
• Excellent command of the English language and good knowledge of French.

Responsibilities

• Developing vendor-agnostic portable applications;
• Integrating Spring Boot applications with external services;
• Developing and integrating Java APIs, especially with RESTful services;
• Securing applications and using secrets management tools like Hashicorp Vault;
• Integrating and configuring databases, e.g. Liquibase or similar;
• Working with RDF knowledge graphs and triple stores;
• Containerizing applications with Docker, ideally with solutions compatible with cloud-agnostic environments;
• Working with licensing and compliance aspects and constraints of integrated components and dependencies;
• Documenting code and system configurations;
• Implementing services using SaaS and CaaS hosting.
