About the Role
We are looking for a mid-senior Transaction Monitoring Analyst to support the Payments / 1st Line of Defence team of a leading European bank. The consultant must be able to work with a high level of autonomy and handle investigations without close supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Review and investigate transaction monitoring alerts
Perform first-line checks and escalations in line with AML/CTF requirements
Support the Payments team on day-to-day financial crime monitoring
Document findings and ensure clear audit trails
Liaise with internal stakeholders (Compliance, Operations, Payments teams)
Required Profile
Proven experience in Transaction Monitoring (mandatory)
Solid understanding of AML/CTF typologies and red flags
Experience in a 1LOD environment is a strong advantage
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent command of English (mandatory)
Terms
Full-time assignment
Contract until end of January, with the possibility of extension
Interviews will be conducted by our client prior to confirmation
