We are looking for a Category Manager Raw Materials
Mission:
Sets and executes category strategy and defines targets. Developing and executing of supplier strategies and managing strategic supplier relationships. Accountable for procurement of specific categories for all relevant sites.
 

• Developing procurement strategies in collaboration with responsible stakeholders for assigned categories
• Sourcing strategy development, consolidation of the spend across the group and execution of the entire strategic sourcing process
• On-going category management and continuous performance improvement
• Lead supplier contract  and commercial negotiations in assigned categories
• Continuously measure savings and supplier performance
• Develop and implement supplier relationship management (SRM) strategies, including quality, technology, commercial and sustainability aspects
• Search for new (cost reduction) opportunities by understanding customer needs, supply market trends & innovations and Value in use calculations
• Provides expert-level category knowledge of supply base and global market

• Responsible for raw material supply security

• At least 5 years Procurement experience

• Commercially minded with forward looking attitude
• Metallurgical understanding or quick comprehension
• Masters Degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Fluent in English required, French preferable
• Willing to relocate to Luxembourg and travelling across the European production sites
