About the role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations of Herbalife Luxembourg Distribution (HLD), including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), credit control, and other key financial processes.
In this role, you will:
- Perform day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and monthly closing activities
- Be responsible for weekly and monthly reporting to the US Corporate office
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Produce weekly account statements
- Prepare quarterly reconciliations with importers (customers)
- Perform all necessary Oracle setups (e.g. customers, vendors)
- Provide support in various projects (e.g. implementation of a new ERP system, opening of new countries)
- Act as a backup for teammates during annual leaves and absences
- Perform ad hoc duties assigned by the Accounting Manager or Director
- Maintain communication with key stakeholders (customers/importers, vendors, Herbalife employees).
Our requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in general accounting within international companies
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of French or Russian is a plus
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- Very good command of Excel and Word
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
- Very good communication skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure
- Organized and structured approach to work
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate closely
- Customer and vendor-focused attitude
- Knowledge of Oracle and US GAAP is an advantage.
