In support of our team, we are currently looking to recruit a Quality Control Laboratory Technician (M/F)
- Performs under minimum supervision lab tests and analytical method development
- Generates data to solve technical problems and to support development programs
- Sets, adjusts and operates technical equipment and/or testing instruments
- Coordinates and checks work and test requests and independently writes reports
- Assistance to R&D tests’ preparation and analysis
- Assistance to complaint investigation and quality control
- Organize service/repair of laboratory equipment (in person or with the aid of external help)
- Training of Operators in measurement techniques
Job Qualifications
- Technical degree in physics or chemistry (e.g. “Chemielaborant” or “Physikalisch-Technischer Assistent”)
- Practical experience in chemical/physical laboratory techniques (sample prep., calibrations,).
- Knowledge in some of the following instrumentation: XRF, microscopy (optical, LSM), SEM, UV-VIS, FTIR, ATR, GC, PSD, mechanical testing,
is an advantage.
- Teamplayer
- Ability to work independently and take initiatives
- Knowledge of method development
- Good analytical, problem solving skills
- German (is a must) and English; Luxembourgish and French are a plus
