**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Plays key role in supporting the sales activities in the development of profitable new business account relationships and increased profitability and revenue from existing accounts across all client segments in Luxembourg. Responsibilities will include supporting senior management in their market facing activities and playing a significant role in the sales process. In addition, they will help identify new business opportunities based on knowledge of investment industry, prospects, clients, markets, products and services. Assist and perform sales presentations to prospective asset management clients informing them of the benefits of using the organization’s products and services to meet their needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contributes to the design and development of strategic Luxembourg and European sales and marketing plans which fulfill specific customer needs.
- Identifies prospects and referral sources through a variety of methods including industry events, cultivating influencer network, and electronic campaigns
- Schedules and performs prospect meetings in person and remotely with current and prospective clients to actively promote and sell products and services.
- Support senior management during the pre and post sales process on key new business opportunities in both the AIFM and UCITS markets. Establishes and maintains internal relationships within the organization to facilitate an effective referral program.
- Develop expertise in our product offering and provide presentations as required to external and internal constituents, including proposal presentations, operational tours and product and sales training.
- Prepares and presents professional and profitable service proposals for clients and prospects based upon accurate assessment of service requirements.
- Establishes and maintains good public relations with the community to enhance the organization’s image and develop new business; maintains contact with other internal referral sources to facilitate cross selling opportunities, often conducting joint calls with other business development areas.
- Maintains and active pipeline of prospects through contact and follow-ups with prospective clients to make sure all needs are being met throughout the sales cycle.
- Performs monthly management reporting of all prospects calling efforts and pipeline activity.
- Actively ensures compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures.
- Actively participates in any required corporate and business line training in these areas.
- Follows account opening procedures and understands and follows internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position.
- Actively works with customers to understand each customer's normal account activity, as appropriate for this position.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree, or advanced education degree
- MBA - Preferred but not essential
- Minimum 10 years industry experience
