Our client is an international industrial compagny in Luxembourg and they are looking for a GJunior Buyer to support the growth of the global purchasing activity.
Role
- The Junior Global Buyer will report to the Group Head of Purchasing and will interact with the other business units in Europe.
- The working place is in the holding in Luxembourg, with the eventual need to travel abroad. We are looking for someone who is able to work autonomously, with a good knowledge of purchasing fundamentals and who can be able to undertake projects on his/her own to achieve the strategic objectives and improve overall business performance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support Head of Purchasing in global purchasing strategy implementation by performing benchmarks, collecting and analysing internal data, following up raw material trends and consolidating global savings reporting
- Support global requests for mid spend level suppliers in the Accessory purchasing area in collaboration with global R&D department
- Progressively take ownership of some purchasing categories meaning managing autonomously negotiations, new developments, supplier performance and ensure the implementation of the group strategy on the perimeter.
- Support and follow up the implementation of analytical reports in SAP environment
- Work in a team environment and deliver results on time, with flexibility to manage several projects in the same time
