Progress Database Admin - Luxembourg

- Excellent knowledge of Progress Database Administration including but not limited to Dump and Load, Performance Tuning, Databases Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Debugging.
- Database administration, manage and support all Production, QA and Developemnt environments.
- A good understanding of.nix systems, particularly AIX.
- Hands on experience on Shell Scripting and unix administration
- Experience in code deployment, compilation and troubleshooting of issues relating to it. Providing support to the Development Team.
- Should understand complex Unix Scripts and be able to develop new scripts
- Installation and configuration experience of Progress
- Should be fully conversant in Unix Shell Scripting and should be proficient in writing Shell Scripts for database administration and monitoring. Knowledge of Progress 4GL queries is a plus.
