**Description**
- Assisting in the implementation of billing systems and procedures
- Collaborating with other departments to resolve any billing issues
- Providing training to fee earners on billing best practices
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and analysis
- Assisting with the year-end financial audit process
- Suggesting and implementing improvements to the billing process to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Keeping up-to-date with changes to billing regulations and best practices
- Assisting with ad-hoc finance projects as required.
**Profile**
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or any other administrative relevant fields is required
- Fluency in English and French is required, and knowledge of German is considered as an asset
- Excellent communicator who can engage with others effectively and work well in a team
- Be able to work autonomously with limited supervision, demonstrating a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Have good organization skills and a sense of initiative
- Being computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills, is also necessary.
- Proven experience within a Billing function, particularly in a legal environment, for at least three years, would be beneficial
- Having a good knowledge of VAT legislation will be considered an asset.
