**Role/ Department**:
This is a DB Administrator role and will be responsible for oversight, governance, delivery and business as usual aspects for database instances and servers in the Northern Trust Luxembourg Data Center. The DC is built and managed by a third party vendor (IaaS). In this role you will be the main contact point for all database related topics between Northern Trust and the third party DBA team.

**The key responsibilities of the role include**:

- DB buildout and delivery according to project needs: coordination with Vendor and Project Managers
- DB performance and issue troubleshooting
- Continuous improvements of DB infrastructure and architecture
- Maintain Knowledge Base and documentation
- Work closely with IT Application team and provide DBA expertise
- Maintain a strong relationship with Vendor DBA and PM teams
- Main point of contact for all DB related activities

**Skills/ Qualifications**:

- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database version 11, 12 and 19
- Operating system experience in Linux (RedHat, RHEL7, RHEL8), Solaris SPARC v11, Windows
- Automation using SHELL Scripts (bash, ksh)
- Experience in PL/SQL
- Oracle DB performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Oracle DB capacity planning
- Backup/Restore technologies (RMAN, GoldenGate)
- Experience in Oracle 11g to 19c migration
- Experience in Oracle Multitenant environment
- Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager setup/administration
- Experience in other database technologies (MSSQL, MySql, PostgreSQL) is an advantage
- Team player
